Our Surf Guiding Experience is designed for experienced and advanced surfers who live for the rhythm of the ocean and the thrill of discovery.
You know who you are — the free surfers, the wave chasers, the ones who can read a lineup like a map and feel at home in the sea.
At Local Surf Maroc, our expert Moroccan surf guides have spent a lifetime surfing and studying the coastline around Taghazout Bay. They know every break — the famous points and the hidden gems — and will get you to the best waves the day has to offer.
Each day begins with a full surf forecast review to find the ideal conditions for your level and style. Our guides do more than lead the way — they share invaluable local knowledge, from entry and exit strategies to hazard awareness, and they’ll often paddle out with you for safety, support, and camaraderie in the water.
We keep our guiding groups intentionally small to ensure flexibility, authenticity, and a truly personal experience. Depending on conditions and your stay length, we’ll venture north to Tamri or south to Tifnit, exploring Morocco’s most iconic coastline along the way.
Whether you’re chasing long, peeling point breaks or powerful beach barrels, Local Surf Maroc offers an advanced surf adventure shaped by local expertise, respect for the ocean, and a deep love of Moroccan waves.

There are no surf sessions or lessons on arrival or departure days.
Daily Schedule
As part of our Surf Guiding Surf Experience, we don’t follow clocks. At Local Surf Maroc, we don’t have a schedule for surfing, per se:
Some days we’re up before first light and paddle out before the sun peaks over the horizon.
Other days we relish a lie in, sleeping until midday and then catching waves all afternoon until we can’t feel our arms anymore.
Then there are days where the sunsets grace us with amazing waves and unforgetable surfs.
No two days are the same as we roll around Taghazout Bay to chase waves. If we’re out of luck here, then we go as far north as Tamri or as far south as Mirleft to get that saltwater on our faces.
For your 2 guided sessions per day, The Surf Guides always check the surf conditions the night before to determine the best spot and time to paddle out. The start time will be confirmed before you go to sleep.

Our Drop-In Surf Guiding sessions gives you access to Morocco’s top breaks, led by our local Surf Coaches who knows every tide, wind, and hidden spot. Perfect for experienced surfers who want freedom in the water — with the precision and local insight that make every session count.
Advanced Intermediate
Surf Coaching
Looking to take your surfing beyond wave count and local knowledge? Our Advanced Intermediate Surf Coaching is designed for surfers who already surf confidently and want to refine technique, increase speed, and link manoeuvres with flow and precision. You’ll train with our Head Coach using video analysis, targeted feedback, and structured drills that turn strong surfing into performance surfing.

Yoga & Surf
Our All Level Surf & Yoga Package blends daily surf coaching with restorative yoga designed to complement your time in the water. Whether you’re new to surfing or refining your skills, each day balances movement, breath, and ocean energy — helping you build strength, flexibility, and focus. It’s the perfect reset for body and mind, guided by experienced surf coaches and yoga teachers who meet you at your level.
